Greetings. My name is Ryan Feuerhelm, and I am nearing the finish line of becoming a certified school librarian. I am currently the journalism adviser at a DFW-area high school. Being an adviser means teaching Yearbook, Newspaper, Journalism I and Photojournalism; I also teach English II. It is my sixth year as a teacher, but it is my fifth year being in charge of the various publications. My students just won their second consecutive journalism team championship in UIL academics.

There are tabs above and below to help navigate my website. The contents located within are a weekly blog, my curriculum vitae, my philosophy of school librarianship, my Personal Learning Resources, and five American Association of School Librarians standards. All of this is part of my practicum experience, so new material will be added as I progress through the program.
